Double Blessings Frequently Asked Questions
Stroller FAQ’s

Mothers of multiples are ALWAYS asking my opinion about double strollers. When my twins were born, we purchased a tandem model, because I wanted it to fit through doorways and easily fold-up to fit in the trunk of my car.  I didn't want to spend $300 - $500 either.  Overall, it did the trick, although as the twins grew, and they became more aware of their surroundings, the one in the 'rear' seat wanted to be in the 'front' so he could see better (and get more attention from the passers-by!), and visa versa.  Also, as their little legs got chunkier, it was a bit of a struggle getting them in and out of the seat legholes easily.  By the time they were walking at 13 months, they wouldn't have anything to do with it (good thing I didn't splurge for the expensive Peg Perego).  After that, I promised myself to buy a side-by-side jogger with my next twin pregnancy!

There's a fantastic selection of double strollers available ranging in price from $100 to $1,000.  Not everyone can afford the most expensive ones out there, so, to get you started, I've selected a few from InStep and Schwinn, both which offer moderately priced, well-built strollers that come with a one year warranty on frame and parts.  I also offer the double and triple strollers from Baby Jogger, more high end, but really popular, and high-quality true jogging strollers with lots of options.  The manufacturers recommend a minimum age of 12 weeks, up to 100 pounds.  All come with FREE shipping directly from the manufacturer to your door (usually within 7-10 business days).
